Insta360 has introduced a new Go 3 miniature camera. Unlike previous generations, it does not require a smartphone to be connected to monitor the video recording process.
The company notes that this is the world's smallest action camera, which "can be attached to anything." In the "naked" form, it weighs only 35 grams, which is 3.5 grams more than the Go 2. And in full gear, the device becomes heavier by another 96 grams.
But now the camera allows you to record video with a resolution of up to 2.7K (2720x1536 pixels). And without any restrictions on the duration of the videos.
The main innovation of the novelty can be called the Action Pod accessory, which is attached to the rear panel. It adds a flip-out screen to the Go 3 and an extra battery that boosts battery life to 170 minutes. And on a single charge, the gadget only works for 45 minutes.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi. It has two speakers with a voice control function. There is also water protection (IPX8).
In addition to the Action Pod, the camera comes with a magnet mount, an Easy Clip, and a swivel stand.
Insta360 Go 3 with 32 GB of memory was priced at $380 (≈32,000 rubles), which is $80 (≈7,000 rubles) more expensive than the similar version of Go 2. The 128 GB version will cost $430 (≈37,000 rubles). Sales in the US have already begun. The release of new items in other markets has not yet been reported.
So here's a review. I did it for a decent time, and if you liked it, then subscribe to my tg, there are a lot of interesting things coming out every day =)
