Typically, smartphone manufacturers indicate on promotional pages that their smartphones are able to hold out for some time under water - but under the asterisk, you can read that we are talking about pure water without impurities. In real usage scenarios, gadgets are often filled with lemonade, coffee, and other liquids. Youtuber TechDroider decided to check if the current flagships of Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi can survive the soda flood.
The author completely immersed the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Samsung S23 Ultra, and Xiaomi 13 Ultra in lemonade, after which he put the container in the freezer for 4 hours. An hour later, when the ice melted, he washed off the soda with clean water and checked whether the devices survived the test.
It turned out that the current flagships did not care about such tests: all three models had screens, cameras, and speakers working properly - and AlwaysOn continued to work even under ice.
Of course, repeating such a test with your smartphone is not recommended. But this test showed that modern flagships cannot be killed by sugary liquid or freezing.
So here's a review. I did it for a decent time, and if you liked it, then subscribe to my tg, there are a lot of interesting things coming out every day =)
